项目摘要

①　研究の進展により、当初の研究計画を見直した。ジャン・ドゥ・モンシェニュという、芸術的創造性に優れた一人の寄進者に焦点をあてた当初の研究計画から、アントニウス会の黄金時代（15世紀半ば～宗教改革前夜）に、ドイツ語圏、フランス語圏、イタリア語圏で寄進された、寄進者の異なる三つの独創的な作例（サンタントワーヌ母院聖三位一体礼拝堂、ランヴェルソ分院聖堂ファサード、イーゼンハイム祭壇画）を考察することで、(1)これまで関心の払われてこなかったアントニウス会美術の特質と、(2)寄進と芸術的革新性への意欲との関係性を問うものへと、変更した。②　これまでの研究成果について、投稿論文・学会発表として、発表に励んだ。特に聖三位一体礼拝堂については、ボストンへ渡航（2月）し、口頭発表を行った。修士論文で扱ったイーゼンハイム祭壇画についても、以前の考察を精査し、シンポジウム発表を行った他、一般紙にも寄稿した。③　これまでの各考察をまとめ、結論部の最終考察に入った。特に、アントニウス会美術の特質解明に向けた糸口が見えてきた。アントニウス会の組織的な特質として、極めて中央集権的な集団であることがあげられる。ヨーロッパ各地の分院長の多くは、母院のあるグルノーブル周辺の、注目すべき美術様式の見られないドーフィノワの貴族であったことがあげられる。寄進者は、赴任した土地の優れた文化・美術様式に大いに感化されると同時に、個人の芸術的創造性への意欲もまた刺激を受けた。このことが、多彩な様式を持ち、芸術的革新を明らかに志向する美術作例が多く誕生した、一因ではないかと報告者は考えている。これは、例えばヨーロッパのどこにあっても様式を大きく変えることなかったシトー会とは、異なった特質と言えるだろう。
