项目摘要

2015年度は、これまでに続き大江健三郎の文学についての研究を行なった。研究内容は主に二つに分けられる。第一に、大江健三郎の『沖縄ノート』についての研究が挙げられる。その成果は、論文「大江健三郎『沖縄ノート』における歴史意識の交差――新川明の「沈黙」に吸引される言葉――」として学会誌『日本近代文学』（2015/11）に発表した。この論文は、大江健三郎の『沖縄ノート』（1970）について、そこに語られる沖縄の詩人・新聞記者である新川明の思想との関わりから論じたものである。新川明は、いわゆる沖縄の「反復帰論」の代表的論客として語られることが多い。しかし『沖縄ノート』では、「反復帰論」の論者としてよりも、むしろそれ以前の著作である「新南島風土記」（1964～65）の書き手としてこそ、新川にスポットが当てられていた。大江は、新川が抱く、数百年単位での「南島」の人々の生きざまに向けられた歴史意識と、自らの歴史意識を交差させることで言葉を紡いでいったのである。この論文では、改めて「反復帰論」が議論される現在において、「新南島風土記」がいかに『沖縄ノート』において語られているかを探ることで、『沖縄ノート』と「反復帰論」との位置関係を明らかにすることを試みた。なお、この論文は、今後執筆予定の博士論文の一部となるものであり、その点で順調な研究の進展があったといえる。第二に、2016年6月に日本社会文学会で行なう予定の、口頭発表の準備に関わる研究が挙げられる。この発表は、大江健三郎の小説「飼育」について、執筆当時の1950年代後半の批評言説との関わりで論じようとするものであり、DC採用期間中の研究課題に沿う内容になっている。この研究についても、口頭発表を経て、投稿論文の形で公表することを目指している。
