项目摘要

本年度は、「境界性パーソナリティ障害」当事者、および回復しつつある「元」当事者とその家族へのインタビュー調査を重ね、主に以下の検討をおこなった。（1）従来、ボーダーライン当事者の「見捨てられ不安」や「衝動的な自己破壊的行為」は、過去の深刻な経験に起因する認知の歪みとして、幾分か単線的に理解されてきた。しかし社会学では近年、こうした単線的な人格形成モデルの再考がなされており、本調査においても、「私はいつもボーダーラインじゃない、ある時にだけなる」といった、その文脈依存的な現れが語られた。日本社会学会大会では、この点を「ハビトゥスの複数性」や「分人主義」の観点から考察し、当事者の生はあくまで特定の社会的文脈との交点に生じうる出来事として捉え直される必要を示した。（2）また本調査では、こうした出来事が、特定の他者関係の過去と現在をめぐる著しい葛藤として語られた（例えば「過去」に虐待的だった母が「現在」はそれをなかったものとして接してくるという訴え）。このような他者の現れを前に、当事者の身体はハビトゥスの移調可能性の困難に直面していた。ハビトゥス論によれば、私たちは過去に身体化された複数の性向のいずれかを、常に実践的類推／比喩によって現在の文脈へ置き換えており、ここに著しい葛藤が生じれば、何を為しているのか、何を喩えているのかがにわかには理解できない隠喩的な行為が体現される。『社会学評論』特集論文では、当事者が自らの暴力や自傷行為に込めたこのメタフォリカルな意味を論じた。（3）そして上記論点からは、当事者にとっての〈回復〉とは何かが問い直された。日本外来精神医療学会大会では、ひとが本来たった一つの「人格」ではなく、複数の文脈に応じた複数の「分人（性向）」を生きるのだとすれば、人格への治療的介入よりも、生活世界の複数性や多元性を支援し、葛藤的文脈の相対的縮小が必要となることを示した。
