Batch.works is using 3D-printers to create new methods for prototyping and sustainable product design utilising continuous production methods. This reduces speed from design-to-manufacture and enables use of higher quantities of recycled materials. Our vision is to disrupt traditional manufacturing, creating a circular network of distributed 3D-printing sites around the world. Decentralisation enables designers/retailers/manufacturers to rapidly produce products on-site and in time will enable closed-loop manufacturing. We want to see products remanufactured at the end-of-life.This project is a global collaboration feasibility study exploring the opportunities in a booming 3D-printing market in Germany. We will establish a new global collaboration with Caribou3d, a high-performance 3D-printing business in Germany to explore the technical possibilities of using their machinery under a new collaboration.This collaboration will also enable us access to the European single market through the existing value chains Caribou3d has established.
