The project will be focussed on the development of a next-generation IoT wearable device for the pet-tech sector. The device will connect to a dog's collar or harness and be used to capture location, health and activity data, providing personalised insights to enable their owners to better look after their physical health and wellbeing.The value of this data will be generated as the information from the wearable device is communicated and presented to dog owners via the app.Along with encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle, the Company intends to develop a community which will encourage social interaction amongst dog owners.Regarding the development of the device, early product ideation has been undertaken alongside initial R&D activity to explore the technology required to deliver the necessary value-add data and information to dog owners.
