Curated Makers launches a revolutionary "franchise-for-local" concept, to propel the creative industries forward post COVID, providing hundreds of craft makers opportunities on the high-street in regions all across the UK, bridging the gap between big and small businesses.Backed by Innovate UK through the Young Innovators Fund we have been able to grow our business to run several "Made Local Pop-Ups" simultaneously and have proven the demand for our concept on a nationwide level.The Follow on Fund will accelerate our transition to a franchise model. This project focuses on launching and scaling this innovative hyper-localised concept, to ensure that the Curated Makers brand will be scaled operationally, but not cloned in product assortment.Instead, championing local talent via pop-ups, stores and markets, steering away from the cloned high-streets we are now used to, leading the way for the new future of physical retailing.
