MAFPAC stands for Multiply Adaptive Flexible Power with Augmented Cooling.As battery cells become more powerful and dimensionally larger they produce more heat. As cell packs become used more widely, especially in sectors beyond transport, their duty cycles change and in many instances put high stress on the packs, especially where operating procedures are less rigorously followed. Field use of battery packs can also involve very high or low temperatures, high or low humidity as well as part or full immersion.The focus of MAFPAC design innovation is on the electrical duty cycle of the battery pack as a system; providing maximum energy efficiency through active cooling and heat recovery for heating or cooling as required. MAFPAC offers a robust and flexible non-CO2 producing power source for field use.Our early target markets are in the construction industry service equipment market and in the mobile laboratory and workshop markets. Both these sectors have significant need for mobile off-grid power and operate worldwide. There are further markets across industries such as leisure, sports and off-road utility transportation.
