**About me**I am a start-up founder with a passion for improving everyone's mental health. One in five people right now are experiencing a mental health problem, yet only one in three of those people will recieve treatment.I have dedicated my career to improving access to treatment and support. Whether that's developing national government policy on secondment to the Department of Health, campaigning with Mind, or developing innovative ways of delivering treatment - my motivation to make a difference is strong.**About Lumino**I co-founded Lumino in 2020 with a mission of creating better mental health for everyone. We are developing digital therapeutic programmes that combine a strong focus on clinical outcomes with engaging user experiences.**Our first product**Our first product in development, Seren, delivers a cognitive behavioural therapy-based (CBT) programme to those dealing with problematic menopausal symptoms.2.5 million women in the UK are currently dealing with significant symptoms, of which 2 million are untreated. This impacts on families, careers, and the NHS.CBT is proven to help. But access is poor, due to cost and a lack of clinicians.Seren allows for delivery at scale, at low cost with no-waiting times. This award will allow us to invest in product development as we move towards bringing Seren to market.
