The 'Metaphysical' explores the potential for enhancing immersive experience through bidirectional interaction between Augmented Reality 'Meta' content and 'Physical' creative spaces with animatronics and audiovisuals installations. This concept is aimed at the fast growing immersive experience market. We have identified a lack of interaction between digital and physical content in the few examples of AR overlays in this domain. We will capitalise on this by developing an AR experience that overlay our existing audiovisual and physical interactive installations. On completion of this work, we will have developed a groundbreaking showcase of an immersive AR and interactive experience, along with the tools to repeat this at any given immersive venue. We have identified that this enhanced experience can justify upgraded ticket prices bringing considerable increased revenue into the industry, and proportionally through our business. Furthermore, the application of augmented information and a means to interact with the physical world through virtual objects has a place beyond this market; industry 4.0, health care and many customer-facing activities
