We are developing an affordable AIoT device that can identify birds by their sounds and can be placed nearly anywhere. In the future we hope to have millions of our devices across the globe and to have changed conservation forever. We hope our devices will form part of what we envision as the earths nervous system. Where the health of the planet's ecosystems can be known in rich detail. Where bird and animal populations can be tracked in real time. And where ecological emergencies can be identified faster saving countless species from extinction.We will measure our positive social impact by the annual number of bird identifications our devices produce globally. The greater the number of predictions the richer the detail we have of global bird populations.Our AIoT device is not only about data collection, but also about creating a more sustainable future for all species on our planet.
