Securing cyber physical systems requires multi-domain expertise. With the current cyber security workforce gap, it becomes harder to find this multi-domain skillset. A key entry barrier is learning a large number of tools to interact and secure a computer system. This is because the current training approach mixes foundational cyber security knowledge and software skills in a unified skillset for cyber security starters. If we are able to teach security basic concepts in a technology-agnostic way, and find a more natural approach to human-technology interaction, we could achieve a leap in narrowing cyber security workforce gap, particularly in the cyber physical systems and critical infrastructure domain.Speak-to-Secure (S2S) is an AI-powered technology that enables natural language interaction to secure computer systems. S2S for cyber security professionals is analogous to the operating system for computer users. S2S abstracts away the underlying technologies, thus if a new technology is deployed, a software plugin can be automatically installed to handle the new technology interface, keeping the high-level natural user interface unchanged. This technology has the potential to significantly lower the entry bar for the cyber security domain, particularly in the critical infrastructure sector (energy, railway, autonomous vehicles, industrial plants, smart cities, healthcare).
