英文摘要
The UK fashion industry faces challenges of excessive clothing consumption, environmental impact, and operational inefficiencies. Fashion rental businesses offer a solution by promoting a circular model where clothes are rented, returned, and rented again. McKinsey estimates that 1 in 5 garments need to be traded through a circular model for the fashion industry to hit its climate targets. Some rental platforms have seen significant growth, yet large-scale adoption by major retailers is hindered by operational and logistical issues. Many brands rely on inadequate software solutions, and established brands resist third-party rental sites due to concerns relating to pricing and customer control and are unable to make necessary large investments to update their legacy systems.Zoa proposes an innovative solution with a purpose-built "Operating System". This Zoa-OS can be embedded as a "rent-now" button into any retailer's website via a simple code snippet. Seemingly simple in the frontend, Zoa-OS manages all complex background processes, integrates with warehousing, fulfilment, and cleaning providers, and offers a comprehensive analytics and reporting solution. Zoa-OS is a full-service solution enabling "rental-as-a-service" for any fashion brand. It streamlines the rental process, improves the customer journey, reduces implementation time, and addresses the complex operational challenges of fashion rental.
