英文摘要
Water IMPACT is a groundbreaking project aimed at addressing a **critical global challenge: accurately assessing and mitigating emissions from water reservoirs**. With freshwater systems contributing to a significant portion of fossil fuel emissions, our innovative solution offers a game-changing approach to tackle this issue. By harnessing machine learning techniques and satellite technology, we empower water and electric utilities to calculate, track, and reduce carbon dioxide and methane emissions, thus facilitating their journey towards net-zero targets. Our primary focus is **serving water and electric utilities** in the UK, Europe, and America, aligning perfectly with their commitments to combat climate change and achieve net-zero goals. We link their sustainability actions to emissions reduction so utilities can demonstrate the benefits of their actions through accurate emissions reduction calculations. This aligns with regulations, streamlines reporting processes, and transforms emissions reduction into business opportunities. We actively engage with major water utilities across multiple countries through collaborations, partnerships, and thought leadership. We're not just offering a product but fostering a movement towards cleaner, more sustainable water management practices. We want to extend our reach to industries beyond utilities, such as high-water consumption industries and the public sector, to have a higher impact and catalyse a broader shift towards responsible water stewardship. Our project's potential impact is undeniable. It holds the promise of transforming water management, reducing emissions, and enhancing the health of our planet's freshwater systems. As we continue to refine and expand our solution, we are proud to be at the forefront of the fight against climate change, championing innovation, sustainability, and a more resilient future for all.
