"The Volumetric Audio for AR (VASAR) project aims to to empower sound engineers to be able to produce '6-degrees of freedom' (6DOF) audio content more easily and quickly by providing them with new tools for audio capture and reproduction.VASAR will develop the technical foundations for an efficient music-led AR experience and a scalable 6DOF soundfield that can be 'mapped' directly to real world environments - enabling a brand new class of Mixed Reality audio experience."
