Ozonolysis is a potentially very valuable, sustainable chemical process. Its industrial application is limited by difficulties with scaling up due to its highly energetic nature and associated explosion hazards. IntensiChem has identified a novel process technology concept which will allow the chemical industry to exploit clean, efficient and sustainable manufacturing using commercial flow ozonolysis. The concept's design ensures that successful scalability is assured.It is important to provide industry with the appropriate tools to make their own assessment of the potential of any commercial process or technology. We will partner with Asynt, an innovative UK SME, to bring the concept to the commercial laboratory. Ultimately the chemical manufacturing industry will have a complete solution, from laboratory to plant.
