Tourism is extremely important to the UK economy, contributing £115 billion (8.9% of GDP)in 2009. The UK is currently the 6th most visited destination by internatiional tourists, but islosing market share. This project seeks to assess whether novel, rich and welcoming SmartTV applications tailored specifically to the category of visitor can help to improve the UK'sstanding, and generate a viable revenue stream in their own right.
