Stretch Space is developing a system capable of measuring global ocean weather conditions in real time. It will use GNSS-Reflectometry payloads, flying on a low cost nano-satellite constellation or as a secondary payload on third party missions. Once the system is established, a data service will be provided to commercial weather companies· The benefits of this system to shipping and renewable energy companies is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
