Controlling impact noise

We would like to construct a small test rig (approx. 9m2 of floor area) to test flooring systems and use the results to develop a predictive model for performance. We lack a deep theoretical understanding of the physics of acoustic/vibration transmission through structures and would require expert advice on the design of the test rig, data collection and development of the model. We intend carrying out most of this work in-house but will require expert supervision and input to be successful.
