COVID-Secure Office Pod & Workspaces Project

Since launching in 2018, Space Republic has developed and brought to market a tech-enabled office pod to support remote working in public spaces, followed by a pod aimed at the office market (QULO) in Q4 2019\.COVID-19 has created a direct challenge to businesses and individuals, due to the risk of transmission in shared workspaces and office pods. To address this challenge, Space Republic has partnered with Brunel University to design, develop and test an office pod with automated decontamination technology. The new office pod will be the first of its kind, representing a significant innovation in the market. Project outputs will include a full working prototype with automated decontamination solution - performance tested to verify the COVID-19 kill rate, certified and ready to take to market. As part of the project, we will deploy the office pods at a pilot workspace in the UK to facilitate user testing and development of an operational playbook.
