Angel Guard Limited (AG) is a UK biomedical technology SME with a core project team of Jonathan Waggott (project lead), Gary Arbuckle (IT/programming lead), Nick Swann (technical lead) and Elaine Waggott (UX/UI lead), AG is applying AI technology to clinical washbasins to detect and eliminate the presence of pathogens that lead to HCAIs. Currently, HCAIs are a significant cause of mortality in hospitals, and even washbasins can harbour and spread disease. AG's design reduces splashing/aerosols while sensor technology monitors and responds to risks, protecting patients and enabling hospitals to provide effective care.
