英文摘要
Since work began in the Government funded Prospering from the Energy Revolution (PFER) programme a significant number of outputs and insights have been produced by the EnergyREV research consortium, the Energy Systems Catapult, and the wider design and demonstration projects. However, there is a growing need and opportunity for the PFER programme to further integrate and coordinate its key outputs and learnings to deliver the impactful evidence required by government decision makers, and wider stakeholders, to accelerate the uptake and impact of smart local energy systems. What has become increasingly requested through conversations with the PFER Programme Board, the PFER Challenge Advisory Group (CAG), the EnergyREV Strategic Steering Group (SSG), and with wider government and industry stakeholders, is a need to draw together the key learnings emerging from across the PFER programme in a way that drives impact across the policy, industry, and finance communities. This additional proposal of work builds on the existing EnergyREV research programme in two ways. Firstly, by bringing insights and evidence generated through the existing programme of activities together with work undertaken in other parts of the PFER programme to co-create new and more impactful insights, which can support the PFER programme and challenge director in targeting messages to key stakeholders. Secondly, the funding will help accelerate the impact of specific pieces of research undertaken with the programme by working with key stakeholders in the development or implementation of new products, practices, processes or policies that align with the wider aims of the PFER programme.
