My research and study will be mathematicalmodels of cancer growth and invasion, witha specific focus on the link betweeninvasion and metastatic spread (secondarytumours).I will be developing novel individual-basedmodels of cancer cell invasion employingspatial game theoretic approaches andundertaking rigorous mathematical analysisto deriveequivalent continuum models i.e. systemsof nonlinear differential equations. I confirmthat the project described above has noapplication to weapons manufacture,terroristactivity, or indeed anything else connectedwith the arts of war and aggression.Training*
