The ecclesiology of Thomas Aquinas, particularly in the biblical commentaries, in dialogue with his Christology

I wish to investigate how Aquinas's idea of the Church may relate to his teaching on Christ. I want to explore in particular the images that Thomas develops to describe the relationship between Christ and the Church. My hypothesis is that it may be possible to treat Thomas's ecclesiology as an extension of, and complementary to his Christology. My aim in undertaking this research is to test this hypothesis and evaluate how far it offers a useful insight into Aquinas's ecclesiology, i.e. to explore the link, for Aquinas, between Christ and the Church.
