My research project would aim to develop a clearer picture of the needs, experiences and outcomes of children and families of living on Home Officeasylum support. This would entail considering different aspects of the supportsystem, particularly the levels of financial support provided to children and families and the employment restrictions on parents. I would consider both the short- and long-term outcomes for children, making children's own lived experiences and participation core to the research. The key contribution of this research would be in providing a unique account ofchildren's own experiences of the asylum support system, adding children's voices and perspectives to the knowledge base. The research will also aim to generate new analysis from existing data sets to help build a clearer picture ofchildren within the asylum support system
