英文摘要
Graphitic (and carbonacious) materials already have a range of applications (most notably as batteryanodes) and the area is a very active and competitive one world-wide. However, our approach todoped-graphene is an entirely new one which opens up a number of applications and new researchdirections. This project aims to optimise synthetic routes to ordered crystalline highly boron-doped graphenestructures, enabling a high level of control over stoichiometry and morphology. Using optimisedtechniques an investigation into homo-doped and co-doped graphene structures can be undertakenwith the goal of testing the materials as high-energy density electrodes for lithium and sodiumbatteries.
