英文摘要
The proposed research project will extract data from three, large longitudinal cohort studies to further explore theaetiology of conduct disorder trajectories. Trajectories ofconduct problems will be estimated using nonparametrictrajectory estimation. Socio-environmental risk factors willbe identified using multinomial logistic regression.Polygenic risk score analyses will investigate how theseenvironmental risk factors interact with the genetic liabilityfor conduct disorder. Additionally, the proposed PhD willtake a global perspective in identifying regional and otherpotential population specific variations in risk pathways forconduct problems among children. My PhD project proposalwill provide more power than any previous study on theaetiology of conduct disorder and will be useful for youngpeople and in clinical practice, as it will help to further ourunderstanding of child conduct problems. By discoveringthe causal factors of conduct problems and recognizing theexact problems which individuals go through, the dataobtained in this PhD will help to optimise and/or developservices and suggest potential targets for interventions andprevention of disruptive behavioural problems in childhoodand adolescence.
