This project investigates using acoustic emission sensing techniques to monitor lubricated machine contacts. Lab tests simulating rubbing machine contacts will be performed alongside acoustic emissions measurements, and through signal processing and modelling a method of observing contact behaviour through acoustic emission signals is sought.
