In what ways can cognitive and moral enhancement facilitate human flourishing?This is the principal research question of this project, and a satisfactory answer requires bringing the resources of contemporary epistemology, normativity and moral philosophy to bear on debates traditionally pursued in bioethics and the philosophy of medicine. Here the target of 'human flourishing' is best understood under an Aristotelian eudaimonistic view, whereby the utilisation of our many virtues can lead us to a life of well-being.
