Quantum aspects of black holes and holography

Investigate questions coming from black hole thermodynamics in AdS5 and AdS5/CFT4. In particular, explore the relation between microstates of supersymmetric black holes in AdS5 and certain Super Conformal indices. Study the counting problem of 1/16 - BPS operators in \mathcal{N}=4 U(N) Super Yang-Mills theory using the \mathcal{N}=1 Super Conformal index of the theory. Try and explicitly list the operators corresponding to the numbers obtained from this counting problem in as systematic and general way as possible.
