This research project looks to answer these questions through the development, application and analysis of spatially resolved Mueller Matrix Polarimetry Imaging (MMP-i). MMP-i, a novel structural probe being pioneered by Siligardi (DLS), is the only instrument in the world capable of providing a full description of the optical properties of a medium with synchrotron light at resolution.
