Investigating relationships between responses to music in EDM events, aspects of rave culture and wellbeing

This project aims to be a continuation of music psychology research into EDM and psychophysiological responses (Solberg & Jensenius 2016, 2017) and EDM events and wellbeing (Cannon & Greasley, in press; Little, Burger & Croucher, 2018). The overall objective of this project is to explore psychophysiological responses to various stimuli present within live EDM event contexts, and assess how these shape the experience of attendees. The project fundamentally aims to address how these experiences are, in turn, related to wellbeing outcomes with a focus on the longitudinal impact of EDM event attendance on wellbeing.
