This project aims to develop an improved agricultural carbon soil model thatincorporates new data and empirical relationships in order to compare variousfarmland management strategies for climate mitigation. This project is highlyrelevant because farmland soil carbon sequestration has been proposed as acarbon offsetting strategy by private companies and startups in a addition tonational governments, such as the U.S. and the U.K.
