The PhD project will support analysis of the data sets entered into the US based registry the worlds first large scale data repository for prosthetic services. This will provide a unique and globally leading understanding of the relationships between amputation prosthetic device and health service factors at scale. Data analysis will combine descriptive analysis with statistical analysis of data on patient and health professional practice. It will also explore the potential value of the collection and use of data to drive health care innovations. The student will also spend some time in the Mayo Clinic in Rochester USA
