Photography as a modern language in digital social media in Iran 2018-21

在本研究中，基于调查社交媒体、情感和摄影之间的交集，以伊朗为例进行研究。我将考虑这三个要素如何为专制社会的用户创造一种现代语言。图像的潜在力量将通过借鉴传播和媒介研究来评估。数字图像将在数据分析过程的帮助下收集。分析将涉及从伊朗目前最受欢迎的社交媒体平台Instagram提取数据。为了证明照片、数字社交媒体和情感在专制社会中作为一种超越障碍的替代语言的理论。

In this study, based on investigating the intersections between social media, emotions, and photography focusing on Iran as a case study. I will consider how these three elements can create a modern language for users in authoritarian societies.The potential power of images will be assessed by drawing on communication and media studies. Digital images will collect with the help of the data analysis process. The analysis will involve data extraction from Instagram, Iran's most popular social media platform at present. To prove the theory that photograph, digital social media and emotions act an an alternative language in authoritarian societies to go beyond barriers.
