Reflecting Organisational Transformation through New Curatorial Practice

The collaborative doctoral project gives an opportunity to engage with the archives of FABRIC, an organisation formed from the merge of Dance4 and DanceXchange which brings together over 60 years of experience and history of the organisations. Responding to the AHRC's theme "Care for the future:Thinking forward through the past" (2018), this project will position digital archival curation and participant engagement to explore how archival practice can be used to support development in the arts sector for digital inclusion agendas. This project will examine reflections, ephemera, and curational practice to develop new ways of presenting performance, using a practice-based methodology.
