Octavia intends to focus their research on the workers at Morris & Co. following the Firm's expansion to its Merton Abbey premises. Octavia will look at the lived experience of these workers as well as the objects they produced with the aim to reassess the significance of collective production in this context and to create a new way of discussing Arts and Crafts objects which is not centred around single artist-designers.
