This is a pilot study to collect peripheral blood monocyte-derived macrophages (MDM) for in vitro HIV infection studies to correlate permissiveness to HIV infection and gene expression. This study is being conducted in conjunction with other ongoing studies of alveolar macrophages collected from both HIV infected and uninfected subjects by sputum induction.
