This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. We plan to generate entangled photons at 810 nm using type I crystals and a pulsed source. Our source would be the Coherent Mira Ti- Saph laser operatig at 810 nm. This would be doubled to 405 nm and used to pump type I BBO crytals to produce entangled pairs at 810 nm.
