This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. In an attempt to generate stronger and more clinically relevant NY-ESO-1 immunity than in previous clinical studies, the HLA-A2 restricted NY-ESO-1b peptide (SLLMWITQC; position 157-165) will be mixed with Montanide ISA(Trademark) 51 plus CpG 7909 and given by subcutaneous injection to HLA-A2 patients with cancer expressing the NY-ESO-1 or LAGE-1 antigen.
