In an attempt to generate stronger and more clinically relevant NY-ESO-1 immunity than in previous clinical studies, the HLA-A2 restricted NY-ESO-1b peptide (SLLMWITQC; position 157-165) will be mixed with Montanide ISA(Trademark) 51 plus CpG 7909 and given by subcutaneous injection to HLA-A2 patients with cancer expressing the NY-ESO-1 or LAGE-1 antigen.
