This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The purpose of this study is to compare the effect of two diets on certain substances in the blood. We will measure sugar, insulin, fats, and several markers of heart disease risk in the blood.
