COMPARISON BETWEEN TWO DIFFERENT CLOPIDOGREL MAINTENANCE DOSES

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. Increasing the maintenance dose of clopidogrel following a percutaneous intervention will result in increased suppression of platelet aggregation. The main goal of this study is to test whether an increase of the maintenance dose of clopidogrel from 75 to 150 mg per day results in an additional suppresion of ADP-induced platelet aggregation.
