This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor in patients with congenital neutropenia, chronic idiopathic neutropenia, and cyclic neutropenia by assessment of occurrence of infections, inflammation and side effects. Under this protocol, investigations of the molecular and cellular basis for SCN continue as well as continued clinical observations of patients on long-term treatment with G-CSF and other therapies.
