This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of rosiglitazone and flutamide and a placebo on androgen, insulin and glucose levels in the blood. The investigators hypothesize that improving insulin resistance will slow GnRH pulse frequency, increase FSH levels and promote ovulation.
