This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The combination of bevacizumab, erlotinib and imatinib will be found to substantially improve the response to treatment over bevacizumab and erlotinib alone. " To define tolerable dose levels of bevacizumab, erlotinib, and imatinib when used in combination. " To evaluate the efficacy of this 3-drug combination in the treatment of patients with advanced clear cell renal carcinoma. The primary endpoint in this trial will be the objective response rate. Secondary endpoints will include progression-free survival and overall survival. " To define the overall tolerability and toxicity of this 3-drug combination in advanced renal cell carcinoma.
