The purpose of the Administrative Core is to oversee all administrative and coordination functions necessary to ensure the smooth operations of the Center for Native and Pacific Health Disparities Research. As a systemswide Center that will broaden its reach outside of the State to organizations and communities in Alaska and California, the proposed Center will serve as a focal point for regional efforts to eliminate health disparities and to promote wellness in Native and Pacific Peoples in this region. Thus, the specific aims of the Administrative Core are as follows: A. SPECIFIC AIMS 1. Administer and manage all fiscal, human and programmatic resources of the Center to enhance the success and synergy of all core components and research aims. 2. Coordinate and standardize all Center-wide research functions to maximize efficiency in conducting all research and core components of the Center. 3. Develop and sustain all of the Center's new and existing partnerships for the purpose of increasing collaborations and promoting trans-disciplinary research that is relevant to cardiometabolic health and health disparities of NH, AN and PPs. 4. Disseminate information about cardiometabolic health and health disparities research, training and community projects to NH, AN and PP communities and the broader public for the purposes of increasing awareness and education.
