Intramural Training of NIH Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering Researchers

本年度的资助对象包括：（1）通过面向美国公民和永久居民的NIH博士后校内研究与培训奖（IRTA）计划和面向外国人的NIH博士后访问学者计划，资助生物工程和物理科学领域的博士后研究生;（二）临床研究员通过临床转化研究奖学金计划与放射学和成像科学系合作，在美国国立卫生研究院临床中心;（3）通过NIH Postbaccalaureate IRTA计划的博士前实习生;（4）通过研究生合作计划的研究生;（5）通过NIH/NIBIB生物工程暑期实习计划（BESIP）的本科生，他们的大三和大四之间的大学生，谁将获得生物工程或生物医学工程学位。这些计划培养科学家从预科到博士后和临床研究金水平。于二零二一年，BESIP计划因COVID-19疫情而远程运作。

Intramural trainees being supported this year include: (1) postdoctoral trainees in bioengineering and the physical sciences through the NIH postdoctoral Intramural Research and Training Award (IRTA) program for US citizens and permanent residents, and the NIH postdoctoral Visiting Fellow program for foreign nationals; (2) clinical fellows through the Clinical Translational Research Fellowship Program in collaboration with the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences in the Clinical Center, NIH; (3) pre-doctoral trainees through the NIH Postbaccalaureate IRTA program; (4) graduate students through the Graduate Partnership Programs; (5) undergraduate trainees through the NIH/NIBIB Bioengineering Summer Internship Program (BESIP) for college students between their junior and senior years, who will receive degrees in bioengineering or biomedical engineering. These programs train scientists from the pre-baccalaureate to the post-doctoral and clinical fellowship levels. In 2021, the BESIP program was operated remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
