The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. A. Specific Aims /Objectives 1. To conduct a pilot study at Children's Hospital Boston of a possible correlation between the presence of serum IgG or IgE anti-IgA antibodies in IgA-deficient patients and the occurrence of adverse reactions to gamma globulin administration in patients with primary immunodeficiency. 2. To compare results of ELISA methods for the determination of IgG anti-IgA antibodies with commercially available passive hemaglutination and immunoradiometric methods. 3. To examine the persistence of anti-IgA antibodies over a 6 month period.
