Patients with cystic fibrosis aged 14 or older will be recruited conditional on relevant pulmonary screening requirements and randomized to a 14-day trial of 552-02 versus placebo. 552-02 is a sodium transport inhibitor which may be efficacious in clearing mucus from the airways in CF patients.
