This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The aim of this study is to evaluate subjects who are at various stages of progression to schizophrenia. Subjects may be "prodromal" (high clinical risk), first episode, chronic, or healthy controls, which gives the investigators a broad perspective and database on phenotypic markers and predictors of progression. The study aims to link clinical, cognitive, neuroimaging, electrophysiological, hormonal and genetic markers of schizophrenia disease progression to the understanding of how the underlying neural circuits may be disturbed.
