Upgrades to an existing dilution refrigerator, built by (now retired) Prof. John Harrison and his group, are needed.  These upgrades include replacing the pumps, adding wiring and circuitry for microwave measurements and replacing valves.  When complete, these urgent upgrades will will allow the measurement of nanoscale devices at temperatures low enough that quantum limits motion may be within reach.
